Starborn Tanzanite gemstone ball expertly set in a sterling silver 6 point star pendant.
Tanzanite is a deep blue exotic gemstone with hints of grey and purple found only in one place on earth, near Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, East Africa. Tanzanite is pleochroic, meaning the blue, grey and purple tones in the stone vary depending on the viewing angle. In addition, there may be a slight colour change in incandescent light, which causes the stone to appear more purple.
The iconic 6-pointed star is handcrafted from fine 925 sterling silver and features an 8mm ball cut by hand from our inventory of high quality Tanzanite gemstones.
